Smart Pharmacy: Prescription Safety & Quality Detection
In one of our first forays into Life Sciences this application showcases how Detect-It can be used to ensure the safety of patients and the quality of prescriptions. A single camera reads patient name and date of birth off their ID and compares it to the name and date of birth on the prescription label. If the name or date of birth don't match the pharmacist is notified. Additionally, with the same camera, Detect-It ensures the proper pill and quantity are being put into the bottle.

In this application Detect-It Net Builder and Net Runner are being used to inspect medical vial components and fill levels. Detect-It's ability to run live streaming video without stop stations allows component detection as soon as it comes into the field of view. Even object occlusion doesn't fool Detect-It.
