Detect-It Exhibiting at the Automotive Testing Expo at Suburban Showplace in Novi, October 2021

The Detect-It team brought all new demos to Novi for the Automotive Testing Expo! A new “Smart Tool” demo, featuring a set of cylinder heads were featured, as was a new wood block, user guided assembly demo, where Detect-It instructed users to place 2”x2” wood blocks in particular locations based on the wood grain of each block. Not an easy task! The hit of the show, though, had to be our Detect-It Dice Challenge Game Cart! Solely using hand motions, attendees started a clock-spinner by pointing at a camera, held up a stop sign to stop the spinner on the number of their choice, then rolled two dice to the end of the board. If the number on either dice matched the number on the spinner they won! Upon triggering a match, Detect-It set off a red police flasher, a metal fire bell and then actuated a vacuum blower to shoot a detect-it-branded red ping pong ball about 30’ in the air!! Was a fun demo and a great way to show how Detect-It AI can be used to control machines or work stations using only their body motions.
